The Brain
Gerald M. Edelman, Jean-Pierre Changeux (eds), 2001

Anatomy, Psychology, Other?
With the entry of this book into my review database in late 2000, a new category has been started to cover the increasing number of books which bridge across the traditional boundaries of psychology, physiology, computation, and other seemingly unrelated fields of study.

Following the Daedalus issue which this book grew from, the book is geared toward the non-specialist reader and, in that style, covers a wide variety of topics including sleep research, drugs, consciousness, and other topics in brain architecture and function.
